We have been living from 1997 with the American Stafforshire Terrier. These are years lived deeply day after day, minutes after minutes.
Living with them has provoked in us interests and curiosity which go over the breeding. In these years our dogs have hade us to make some considerations, bringing us without to notice to new discoveries about their never ending world, goading us to work and to study with them, with naturalness and not knowing of how many satisfactions we could have.
Sure the best and satisfactory work is to help them from young age to be introduced to this naturless civilization, helping them to grow in armony with this environment and in a society which doesn't give them the opportunity to grow and mature. Suddenly in our time the dog has to conform himself to our times and fancies; he has to tolerate stress which sometimes we are not able to tolerate, he has to walk from early age on surfaces cold in winter and hot in summer; his coat changes in base of temperature in our houses and not following seasons, he has to conform himself to live in cities which are 30-40 meters in height with smells and noises to learn quickly, learning to tolerate unbearable situations for his immunity and neurological system.
Said this, we have thrown ourselves to select apart from conformation, health and temperament to improve his immunity system agaist stress, preparing him for the external world, from his birth.
This is the reason becouse from January 2004 we have been apply to all our litters the Biosensor program followed from an early socialization's program and from an environmental improvement. Our kennel affix's name is Alma de Avana, which has been recognized in 2005 from FCI.
